  • @philip2260 Thank you. I stand by what Bishop Prince Singh said in this video.

  • @Forlorn79 Buddhist and Christian have, in some ways, a lot in common. but i think your right we wont settle our differentness here. but i do ask you to read the gospels. also i had a look at your home page, i think your very brave person, God bless philip

  • @philip2260 I don't believe in a place where we can go without death, sorrow, and pain, or live in love with complete understanding. I don't believe in the supernatural. The Buddhist is more concerned with creating a better life right now at this moment on Earth. The world is only lost when we stop searching for truth, and instead live for something of our own creation. But I don't think we will settle our differences here, or between the various Biblical religions.

  • @Forlorn79 lgbt is just a term, words. but its people how cause the harm. no 1 is perfect, and we all do wrong sometimes, you cant believe in something with out disagreeing with some1 else. Christians hurt people and so do lgbt people and so do others. but Christ rose from the dead to show his way. the place where there will be no more death, sorrow, pain. we will live in love with complete understanding. God never made us to die, or hate, or steal, lust. God is love but this world is lost

  • @philip2260 My morality is based in Buddhism and some rational principles. Being an LGBT person isn't causing suffering in others, but rather them living according to their true selves relieves suffering in themselves. I don't see sexuality as wrong, as long as people are responsible and balanced. Real love is a beautiful thing, love for ourselves, and those we share our hearts with.

  • @Forlorn79 in a strange way i agree with you. my point here was that these people are wrong to call themselves Christians yet not believe the bible. if you disagree with the bible thats a different argument. the bible does say lgbt is wrong. but it also says if i hate someone iam sinning too, as well as if i look at someone in a sexual way, that sin. so there is a lot of sins. the key to it is dieing to this life, to serve God and others. its these lust that is wrong,

  • @philip2260 I don't believe in sin or the bible myself. It's normal and natural for people to be LGBT, so if the bible is clear that it's wrong, then it's not the people who are wrong, but the bible.

  • @johengen but how can you say lgbt is ok? not sin? the bible is clear that its wrong.

  • Prince is my bishop, and I'm so proud to be an Episcopalian in the Diocese of Rochester!

  • This was my favorite part of the rally. Both speakers were awesome.
