Super special note for Ron Paul fans: this video stars your idol, but it isn't really about him. It's about the teapartiers in the audience who shouted "yeah!" This video includes more context w/ Ron Paul's comment than TPM's video, but I included that context to be *fair* to your idol. I was going to cut it off after the crowd shouted "yeah!" because - once again - that's what this video is about.

Let me explain that again: this video isn't about Ron Paul himself. It's about the teapartiers shouting "yeah!"

@:59 The government doesn't have any resources either remember the only money the feds have is either borrowed from China meaning your grandkids pay it back stolen from the american people through force (taxed) or printed at the federal reserve which makes every dollar you earn worth less. Church hospitals are run like charities the only difference is the government can force you to give money while charities are voluntary.

The end said, Churches don't have the money that the government does, but without the government, the churches WOULD have the money. Hospitals and Drs. charge what they do because insurance and the government will pay it. Without insurance and the government, Drs. and hospitals will have to accept what people can pay - reasonable fees instead of accelerated prices. We need to learn to depend on one another instead of expecting the government to do it because they make us dependent on them.

It is simple. Telling me I have to pay for someone else to have insurance is called slavery / forced servitude. Does an individual have the right to make someone else subservient? NO There are free clinics all around the US. Hospitals are not allowed, by law, to turn the uninsured away. Obamacare is about making insurance companies (aka corporate fascism) rich, while further enslaving the population.

If you are too short sighted to get health insurance you have to take responsibility. If you are too short sighted to take motor insurance, no one is saying the government should take care of your car when you crash it. That said, if you can't afford health insurance there should be support from the government, but the example he uses in the video of a normal 30 year old should have no problem taking out health insurance. The culture of entitlement we have now leads people to not take insurance.
