@ithacavox You can overclock the processor. Look it up if you want to do yours. They say going up to 800 Mhz is stable and won't damage phone and is just as fast as 1Ghz Snapdragon, Jus as Droid X's 1Ghz is faster than Snapdragon of same speed.

@jesnels I was usuing a very very early pre release of both the flash binary and a terriblke early 2.2 rom. performance is about 3x better now.
