The injectors all need to be changed that's why it runs bad for a few seconds when it starts cold, there may be also one that is blocked when on a cold start after it has run for a few seconds it starts working and the engine evens out and runs perfect. High idle is 850 RPM. Truck has 565000km on it (371000 miles)

  • Cant nothin beat a good ole Power Stroke

  • This ain't no powerstroke....

  • it aint? Then what is it?

  • IDI (InDirect Injected) non turbo diesel.

    Many know 'em as Pre-PowerStrokes.

  • All of'em made by International. Still the same as a Power Stroke....jus a few things changed on'em.

  • Yes all IH, but a PS and IDI are 2 completlly different engines.

Only thing that didn't change is the size. 7.3 IDI and 7.3 PS.
