@OldmanChester Yeah I had this problem all last year and finally dived into it. It was due to overheating, everything I read online and all the forums had lead me to open it up. Found a giagantic dusty bunny around the fan (about the size of a small lime). Removed dusty bunny, used compressed air on all components and viola! back to new. I had found a video online to know how to pull apart.

My HP DV2000 overheated and died and I'm looking for a computer that doesn't overheats that much, at least it should shut off before the temp gets into the solder melting point.
I was considering this computer but now I know what not to buy.

@OldmanChester im guessing its becuase its "made in china" look at the bottom of it =.=, i have this same model and whenver i try and play black ops or mw2 i always have to use a small resolution of the game for it to run at a maximum of 26 fps, but it still overheats very oftenly!

Finally, someone who has the same problem. This issue is so fucking annoying, it happens to me at the worst times when im playing games. If you ever find a fix pleeeeease message me. Im on the verge of either punching a hole strait through my computer screen or taking this piece of shit up to Dell headquarters and ramming up the creator's ass.

i got the exact same laptop It keeps crashing my gotdamn game dell are fucking useless, btw all inpsirons have bugged graphics cards, its why the freeze for 5 secs or more every 10 mins, fucking idiots do they even test the shit they sell these days
