The proper way to prepare your yard for sod installation. For more tips from Andy Robinson, The Landscape Renovator visit www.thelandscaperenovator.com
its been a 5 weeks after i planted my sod, almost 1/2 died which is around my maple tree in the yard. im wondering was it the trees roots or lack of sun that killed it. it didnt even rooted. fml. the yard was tilled, fertilized and rolled.
Maybe only enough to keep the dust down, but there's no reason to water it immediately before laying the sod. Watering it afterwards is more than enough to penetrate down to the soil.
Great sodding video.
