Bobby & Laurie were a highly successful '60s Melbourne duo (often backed by the Rondells). This song was the B side to their most successful single, "Hitchhiker".

  • yeah, why are the majority of the groups that sallie6 has posted, with one or 2 exceptions, never been given the recognition they justly deserve, the groups posted by sallie6 havent been heard of in yonks, but to listen to them now, they have all stood up to time, music wise, and lyric wise, whats the problem, please explain, lol oh yeah, sallie6, did you ever go to beatle village in oxford st, or , rhubarbs, off liverpool st, in the city? just curious, or are you a melburnian?

  • "You'll Come 'Round" was written by Bobby Bright and Laurie Allen using the name 'Alan Brite'.

  • Great song does, anyone know who wrote this?

  • You can catch Bobby Bright and band at the Fleece in Montague Street Port Melbourne this Thursday, 2nd September (2010) He is still going strong!!

  • ...and I was there at Channel O's GO!! SHOW when they filmed this......JUST AWESOME!!!! BOB & LAURIE RULE!!! 4 EVER!!!

  • Nice song but, it's odd, I'm noticing that they don't know how to dance.

  • great to hear from you re Twoddle and Boddle etc.-Gee,we were spoiled in those days by Bobby & Laurie and the rest of 'em!

  • Yup. i watched the first ever show on Channel O on our B&W TV and was a bit shocked to see them dressed up like that coz they had been my idols as rockers. Still I watched every episode from then on in lovely Croydon!

  • Vale Laurie, and with a surname like Bright you can't go wrong can you Bobby? A great duo from the 60s that I crossed paths with on many occasions. Met up with Laurie again only months before he sadly passed away. Thank you for sharing this great memory.

  • AS hard driving as the Dave Clark Five! Wish this had been released in the US...
