Photographer Theresa Berg has started to work on changing the grim images of animal adoption photos into something that a possible pet owner can't refuse. Steve Hartman reports.

It makes such a difference.. Also writing an honest but positive bio for them, with an ear-catching name for them where appropriate.. it has helped in places I have been. . A Rottweiller named Romeo, with a blurb about his known charms, perhaps told in the first person, and with a shot of him in repose on red velvet goes a long way! Love to Theresa and her work...
