Just for fun - the implications of a world without maps.
***************TRANSCRIPT BELOW (Show More)****************
What's the matter, Troy?
Oh, I hate maps! I wish there was never such things as maps!
Don't ever say that! Can you imagine a world without maps?
Nevertheless, your wish is my command.
What happened? Where are we?
This is the World Without Maps. Everyone's dead, Troy. And you caused it!
No! No! That can't be!
You're right, everyone's fine. But the truth is, a world without maps is a dark and dreary place. Maps make it possible for us to travel, to build, to communicate, and to do business. And there would be no maps without Cartographers. Thank heaven for Cartographers! They are my heroes! And you should get down on your knees and kiss their feet the next time you search for a restaurant on your smart phone.
Whoa! That was weird! I will never again wish for there to be no maps!
Very good, Troy. You've learned your lesson well. Remember, "Without Cartography, You're Lost."
