No, that was the chizra temple (the nali water god)
Actually, you could get the ASMD in the Depths of Rajigar already (secret place underneath an elevator platform)
Temple of Vandora was the first level, where you encountered gasbags and the first skaarj berserker (right after activating the huge blue flame torch thing)

Actually there are some rumors that Vandora is actually a survivor of the ISV-KRAN, that the nali thought to be a goddess.

Yes, you're right! This song is used in the Temple of Vandora, and also in that of Velora (in "Return to Na Pali")... :)
But that's how the song its called "Unreal Crypt" ;P
I put the level name in brackets in the commentary, the general name for the level is "ruins" (and it's also how you open it from the console)! :D

Indeed, glad you like it! :D
In fact, I believe Unreal's soundtrack as a whole is pretty awesome (albeit slightly underrated unfortunately).
They create a great atmosphere and this one is no exception! ;)
