Reagan's hero status was, during his administration, constantly defined by his supposed political outsider position. However, even though the president entered office in part on a pledge to reduce the size of the federal government, government instead increased by leaps and bounds during his tenure. That increase was not just in size but also in power.
Bush Jr turns billions in surplus into billions of debt.
When are you Americans ever going to wake up? You desire for "heroes" is killing you.

He tried to cut spending but instead, folded to Democrat spending, he had folks like Bruce Bartlett advising him. Year upon year, Republicans continue to spend when they are in power. Illusion is good for fundraising - for a while. Actually cutting government is needed to believe that the GOP is anything but just as ruinous to our Country as the Democrats. No more talk. Time to be who Republicans say they are.

Watched this movie last night. Over 70% of the film is narrated by President Reagan, it is awesome.
