SandersRobin: I'm not sure what RVD is up to but is it worth it financially to bring RVD in for a one time appearance particularly at the Hammerstein? The timing would be great because Jerry Lynn is hot right now and the Hammerstein is where they had the last ECW PPV match.

RDizzle12345: Hey Truthslayer, do you think that it would be a smart decision for an upstart company to spend a lot of money to get people like Rob Van Dam (and Paul Heyman), Sabu, Bobby Lashley, D'Lo Brown, Kenny Dykstra, (a transformed) Nick Dinsmore, Shannon Moore, Elijah Burke, Paul London, Lance Cade, The Bashams and The Highlanders on one roster. Since most of these guys are good wrestlerrs (some are great) but still have star power.

Acer800: What 3-5 ROH shows (besides/including some of the list you have on your profile page) would a relative novice to the organization want to see/purchase? I am planning on going to the ROH Wrestlemania weekend shows, and would like a better sense of the promotion

DolphinsNUM34: Truthslayer, I've heard you constantly talk about Mystico and how he is possibly the most over guy in the entire wrestling industry. My question is, what makes him so over and will we ever see him in the WWE or TNA?

SanDiegoSam3: I was watching one of your old vids and I saw that when reviewing No Mercy 2007 when Orton won the WWE title twice in one night. You said that you weren't a fan of Orton. I was just wondering how your opinion has changed, if it has, over the last year or so? Considering his slight character change and becoming the number one heel in pro wrestling today.

MrPhenomenal08:What do you think the WWE needs to do in order to bring more credibility to the tag team and Intercontinental division

Londrick: How old where you when you realized wrestling is a work and when about was it when you began to understand how the business worked?

tallgirldanny3: Who was your favorite wrestler to hold the ROH world title?

Thescatman: Do you think when Nigel finally looses the belt should it be to Aries or Danielson to make them 2 time champs, or should it be a first timer such as Tyler black or someone else? Also would you like a return of the pure title or do you feel the FIP title is adequate as a secondary title?

Benoitrip92: hey truth do you think owen hart will inducted in the hall of fame within the next 10 years or so thx

chaingangmember2007 : Have you ever attended an IWA: Texas/ACW show, or will you ever attend one?
Regarding a TNA PPV, what if they went the 'Rebellion, Insurrextion' route and made the PPV live that way?

MagneticMaggot: I was looking through Metlzer's star ratings list recently, and he gave negative five stars to three matches. One of which was the boxing match from Wrestlemania II, between Mr. T and Roddy Piper. He also gave negative five stars to Hogan versus Warrior from Halloween Havoc '98. Do these matches really deserve these ratings? What is your personal opinon of them?

demeola88: Do you think if ROH started making teaser vids for their DVDs like they did their PPVs it would help boost sales?

iloveme8: Hey Truthslayer, is there a reason why so many wrestling fans have never seen the work of one of the greatest wrestlers ever, Jumbo Tsuruta?

InfiniteWalkthroughs: What do you think about WWE changing One Night Stand's name to Extreme Rules, this year?

Jyokogawa: If you think there could be one wrestler from the past who would strive in wrestling today, who would that person be?

ultimatedude1: You talk about how much you hate Mike Tenay and Don West as commentators. But in your opinion, what makes a good commentator?

Spiralshockah: In your opinion is it bad for wrestling promotions to treat certain PPVs as throwaway or transitional and do you think that hurts the bottom line?

Nic1700: The lack of great charismatic managers (like Bobby Heenan) or great interviewers (like Gene Okerland) is one of the problems wrestling has today. Where specifically do you think people like these guys could make a difference and are there any people you could see taking up these roles?

AnthraxMosher: Hey truthslayer I got a question regarding ROH that you have touched base on how the fans have been crapping all over the Adam Pearce shows recenly but this question is a little more specific, When roh was taping its Caged Collision many of the fans on the message board started calling it crap right away, my question is have the roh fans always been so complacent? Especially when they read the live reports before the DVD/PPV even come out? Or do they form these opinions before the shows?

wwf52: Hey Truth Slayer have you ever watched Bret Hart: Wrestling With Shadows movie and if you did what did you think about it

  • MIstico works for CMLL.

  • How sure are you that Mistico is particularly over in Japan? New Japan brought him in and the crowd reaction was fairly lukewarm mainly because everyone was there for Misawa, Akiyama etc. I watch a LOT of japanese wrestling and that is his only appearance that I knew of and he was an insignificant draw there. I think it is a HUGE assumption to say he is over in japan, let alone on the level of guys like KENTA, Marufuji, Nakamura (im picking guys from mistico's age bracket, forget Kobashi etc).

  • I always watch your videos because of your wise and prudent knowledge of professional wrestling.

  • I am, as I'm sure you are, a Bret Hart fan, and was disappointed his career was cut short by a Goldberg super kick to the skull. I was even more upset to hear that he suffered a stroke and was more so concerned with health rather than his career. My question to you is, do you think The Hit Man has a chance for a big " send-off match " against one of today's top stars, or are his medical issues too severe?

  • no problem at all. i think youd need a bit more to make a really strong case about him being the biggest draw in the world, but the numbers and his iconic status make him THE top guy in mexico. i thought you were spot on to name him as the biggest drawing wrestler, but i had an objection to the 'he is a big draw (and over) in japan' thing. i dont think any puro mark would agree with that. even in gaijin realms, he's nowhere near the top draw in my view.

  • How can you have a tag team title belt be a 2nd tier belt?

I don't actually see any ways how you can use a title that is different from the top tier belt (World/WWE) Belt.

They would need a TV title, or use the ECW belt as the 2nd tier belt into the other belt on one of the brands.

  • Sorry I miss understood I thought you ment that he was not the bigest draw in the world that was my bad. The reason why I said he was a over was as I said he was over in japan was becouse of the live reports.

  • As far as I am aware, Mistico has never main evented a Japanese wrestling event. In china yes, Japan no. And KENTA is a continuing exception to your rule. I accept that the Dome crowds are tilted to the heavyweights, but that is ONLY because HVTs are the big names. The dome is normally hot for high profile matches. It has nothing to do intrinsically with the competitors weight. If Mistico was high-profile in Japan, he'd have been a draw and a fan-favourite.

  • None of that has anything to do with Mistico's status in Japanese pro wrestling. Was your reply to someone else?

If it wasnt, my post made no mention of Mistico's ability to draw in Mexico, only in Japan. Obviously you'd require more than those figures (such as comparisons to isolates variables) to draw serious conclusions, but I also agree that Mistico is the biggest draw in Mexico without a doubt. Youd be preaching to the converted.

  • Numbers from December 1, 2007, to November 30, 2008 MOST MAIN EVENTS DRAWING MORE THAN 10,000 FANS 20 - Mistico 16 - HHH 13 - Ultimo Guerrero, Perro Aguayo Jr., Hector Garza 12 - Cibernetico 11 - Zorro THREE-YEAR TOTALS (12/1/05 to 11/30/08) 57 - Mistico 47 - John Cena 41 - Perro Aguayo Jr. 35 - Dr. Wagner Jr., Ultimo Guerrero 29 - Hector Garza, Batista
  • You can dissagree all you want but KENTA.Kanemaru would be the exception not the rule. Also the Atendence Numbers don't lie Shows with Mistico on as the Mainevent did well last year I will post them.
