I think a controlled way of bounty hunters are fantastic for society.

Bounty hunters are essential but I'd like to learn more about what kind of accountability and liability bounty hunters are under if he's saying he's just as shady as the police. There's a ton crap I don't approve of the police doing already and touting his show as a good example wasn't a good idea.

While I see the advantages weren't many libertarians against the police SWAT breaking your door without a warrent etc.? Because that's a potential problem I have that these people break into homes and using force while not even being law enforcement or asking a judge. What are the limits and checks for private door breaches? And they also make mistakes. Is that then assault and they go to jail? Would be better than unpunished police errors, imho.

Bounty hunters are also motivated to take the suspect into custody alive. Cops are fine with a big shootout.
