These were supposed to be the original titles to Wonderwall, composed and performed by George Harrison (Beatles), but was rejected and instead The Remo Four recycled their song for it.
This was the original credits as it appeared in the film. The DVD version was re-edited by the director to include the Remo Four song most likely for commercial reasons. Get it straight, mate!
I love this song, and it does not appear on the album (Wonderwall Music). Instead, another song called "Microbes" appears on the album in place of this one.
This is wrong, in fact this was the original sequence in 1968, the Remo Four version wasn't released and used until the films re-release during the late 90's as a Director's Cut. The Remo Four song was also re-discovered during this time and was available on 7" vinyl for the first time in the late 90's to coincide with the film.
I honestly like this one more. In The First Place is totally out of place with the rest of the Soundtrack. Dram revisionists.

I saw this film in recent times on some cable channel (FLIX, I think?), and this version of the credits was shown.
