John Hammond is a straight-talking man of the sea. He belives the Gunns pulp mill proposal is a threat to the Bass Strait environment, and Tasmania's clean, green economic future.

  • Excellent Video John - fresh water IS toxic to salt water creatures, or about the tasmanian govt passing a preemptive air air polution act in 2004 specificaly exempting pulp mills from any restrictions on smell from Hydrogen sulphide and Methyl mercaptan, so even if they set up an EPA to monitor it there will be nothing they can do. Please no matter where you live on this planet - email the Tasmanian and Australian goverments and implore them not to build this mill

  • And I thought the scallop fishermen dredged all the scallops up years ago. Alas, the stakeholder mentality has entered politics to stay.

  • Excellent video.
