June Tabor singing "Don't Think Twice". Huw Warren piano. Best version of this song I've ever heard.

Pics from vacation in Central Oregon.

  • I have been searching for this version for a long, long time. Heard it about six years ago on local Aussie radio. So glad I found it, this is the very best version I've heard to date. Such pure vocals, sublime piano playing and those lyrics!

  • @johannaaustralia I first heard it about 9-10 years ago, streaming on ABC's Dig Music channel. It took me a long time to find it as well. :)

  • Best version ever. Central Oregon, though? Beautiful photos, but I could have sworn there were some snow-covered coal tips there.

  • @jrdavage Central Oregon is volcano country. Lots of cinder pits, craters, etc. This particular area is about 10 miles south of Bend, OR, just east of Sunriver.

  • This has got to be the best version of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice," I ever heard. I heard this song so many times I usually ignore it now. But this grabbed my attention like none of the others before. I think Ms Tabor found the right niche for this melody and lyric. It works brilliantly. The song has new life. It sounds new. Her vocals are so sincere and warm. It sounds like she's singing it personally to the whoever hears it. Great music...simply great.

  • Love this version - June & Huw both brilliant!

  • That's like meeting Jesus through Jimmy Swaggart.

  • June is brilliant as always, but Huw Warren really is fantastic on piano here. Probably improvising on the fly, too! It shines even brighter on the album "Some Other Time".
