First (and maybe only) Tejon Ranch hunt of 2011. I started with the bow, but switched to the rifle after the first day. For the amount of money I spent to do this hunt, I didn't want to come home empty-handed. I almost did anyway, thanks to a scope that had somehow been knocked out of zero.
Tejon is still one of my favorite places to hunt in CA... maybe even the country. But it's not always a walk in the park.
The music, by the way, is a file I've had forever. I believe it's African Tribal Water Drumming, but I have no idea where I got it or to whom to give credit.
The guided hunts at Tejon are a little pricey, but they do Wild Pig Management hunts during the winter and spring that are pretty reasonable... $450 for the weekend. A small group can also book a private hunt for about $100 more.
