I think your comment is rubbish...If you don't like this guy's video don't watch it... A lot of people that are interested in getting into this hobby as myself appreciate all video's so we can decide which planes are right for us...Rude comments are totally out of line useless...Good job dhsc19...greg

For all they nay-sayers theres a reason they named it the slo-v! Its supposed to be a fun slow flyer to just play around with in the park, for beginners or experts just flying around. I'm buying one this weekend!

I use a BP-21 motor w/ 7x4.5 or 8x4 GWS prop, 15 amp ESC and 3s lipo capable of handling 15 amps continuous, around 910-1320 mah. Good for a sorta budget setup. Flies awesome even in 10 mph wind.

can you tell me what motor you used

Sounds like bad luck, or bad piloting. Not blaming you though. I too had to upgrade to a better motor, and 7-cell battery to really wake this thing up 3 years ago. Since then I've upgraded to brushless motor and it's a vertical machine if need be. ;) My most flown plane yet.

Yeah much much larger it's actually intimidating for a beginner.

I thought the slo v was the size of the Ember or the Vapor but actually, it's quite large

So. Is this a Glider with a poor engine or a Plane with a poor glider engine or a kite with a man who's lost his ball of string?
Looks rubbish.
If you want to slow down the slo v even more and u feel comfortable hand launching, I would remove all stickers, the main and the rear landing gear. It weighs more than u think. I did this today and noticed a BIG difference in my stall speed. I was flying at 1/4 throttle. If u do this and use the weaker but lighter 7.2 battery, you can fly it SOO slow without stalling. It hand launches very easy also. And you can land it so slow nothing will get damaged. I may make a video to show just how slow

That would be really cool to see on video.

Great trainer plane, but don't try to fly it in winds over 3 MPG! It's a kite with that big wing, & will "blow away" if you're not careful.

Yes, I've had a few close calls.

Im thinking about getting this plane, is it worth it, looks fun!

It's a good plane. If you've never flown before, be ready to buy lots of spare parts (props, prop shafts, wings, tails, body (fuselage), etc).
