Al Franken & Faces of Health Care Reform

Senator Al Franken met the human faces of health care reform at a rally at Minneapolis United Labor Center, Sunday, Feb 21, 2010. He encouraged the group that there was indeed progress to be made. He cautioned, We cant let the perfect be the enemy of the very good.

Why are tea partiers protesting against this? Don't they see the abuse and greed that's rampant among the for-profit insurance companies?

@lago4 They don't care about abuse by insurance companies. All they really care about is bringing down Obama. They have no interest in their own well-being.

@RantingBill Sure, many of them consider Obama as an enemy to the U.S., outrageous as that is. However, according to what I've seen and heard, especially on YouTube, they are concerned about the cost of healthcare reform more than it's intended purpose. It's like putting a price on healthcare, and even a price on human life. To them, it's all about the money in itself and not about what money is meant to do. The conservative mantra is "I, Me, Mine".
