  • this is a good work - simple, lucid and accurate

you deserve praise for choosing to talk about ideas on this platform

  • I am taking notes on my flashcards based on your lectures. They are so helpful!! When my teacher explains this stuff in lecture it makes no sense and now I'm actually getting it. Thanks so much for posting these!!

  • The last slice of pizza is never eaten.

  • Cartoon Hobbes is Calvin's alter-ego. Hobbes is the clever identity of Calvin-the-rascal. That's why he has a name of a philosopher. Why the name Hobbes instead of Kant or any other thinker? Simply because the tiger represents Calvin, who wants to eat his cake and eat it too! Hobbes the philosopher's psychological egoism suits Calvin just fine!

  • Could it be the cartoon Hobbes represents the government for Calvin, trying to keep his actions ethical?

  • are there any videos that really showed Hobbes' philosophical theories with actual people in it or pictures with the discussion?

  • This is a really nice summary, thank you. Obviously it is really broad but you cover Hobbes concepts of human nature, morality, ethics and politics pretty well.

    thanks! :)
