The title music from Cybernoid 2. In my opinion, this is one of the finest pieces of SID game music you will hear.

Amazingly, Jeroen Tel was only about 16(!) years old when this game released. Writing epic game music for the C64 at the age of 14-15.. A true genius!
Oh, and yes: best C64 tune I have ever heard. A true classic.

Cybernoid 1 had way better music. This is sentimental and tacky.

I hadn't heard it that way before, I think I can hear what you mean though..... like one long screaming guitar solo with the player heaving on the strings and pulling funny faces. I sometimes compare the two but it's the original that brings me back to them. The first is more relaxed and rhythmic, but uplifting and motivating too, which is is why I still play it in my head as I have to get on with things.

The SID chip was a kick ass piece of technology way ahead of its time, that beat the opposition into the ground. And a lot of the tunes produced back in the 80s still sound amazing today.
