@senthereborn Then how come Mangini was able to replace Portnoy? Take a look ot Space4Keys. He was able to recreate a handful of Rudess sounds.

Imagine Jordan would leave DT. You can't replace him! learn all the notes (even that is pretty much impossible) but you still have no idea what effects he uses.
