Mike Modano gets a good burst through center and draws the Devils to him, then dishes the puck to the right to Brett Hull for a clean shot, a ripper that Martin Brodeur stops with his skate blade. I still wonder if Brodeur gets no piece of the puck, what happens? Wide? Post? Goal? It looks like from the goal cam it would go wide, but who knows? In a few minutes it wouldn't matter

And one of the reasons he can make that save is because he won't automatically drop to a butterfly. He'll still stand up and play the shooter.
