If you mean a published pattern, then absolutely yes. If the pattern has you knit the sweater flat, you will knit the front and back and seam them together at the sides and shoulders, forming the armhole. Try the sweater on to check the armhole fit. Take your upper arm measurement, add sleeve ease (1/2 of body ease), and then multiply by your stitch gauge to get the number of stitches to pick up around the armhole. Follow the video for the rest. Hi! Great video...just wondering if you have any videos showing how to work the short rows/wrap and turn in a k1p1 ribbing? I'm having a lot of trouble with this!

I haven't experimented with this, but I'm thinking the way you wrap doesn't matter so much as the way you pick up the wrap. I.e, on a knit stitch, pick up a wrap through the front, on a purl stitch pick them up through the back. Cat Bordhi also has a video on picking up wraps that may help at youtube(dot)com/watch?v=_yVikA­vPuE4. I'll play with this and see if I can figure something out.
