Host: I'll tell ypu a secret. When I was in school I had lots of your pics. Your hair stryle was like Arron Kwok's
Jimmy: Yeah, 6/4

Host: we were not allowed to have long hair so I cut my hair just like yours.
Jimmy: I want to see it.
Host: I was on a bike waiting for my friend. A couple walked by and said "Is that a boy or a girl?" I was so humiliated.
Jimmy: that happened to me too. When I was small, I had long hair. Ppl would say what a cute little girl. I was so mad and shaved my head in 5th grade.

(His showbiz career was interrupted at its peak by 2 yrs of compulsory military service. When he came back it was a whole new world. )
Jimmy: after military service, I came out with my 1st album in 2 months. It was very fast. The album market was shrinking at the time. It was no longer like when I was 17 with so many albums and concerts.
(In order to save his singing career he came out with 5 albums in 1.5 yrs. But the result was not what he expected. He tried to find a breakthrough. )
Host: 5 albums right after military service?
Jimmy: right. And then it was the accident.
Host: you woke up. Maybe you tried too hard.
Jimmy: after the accident I made Legendary Siblings as Xiao YuEr and the album "Happiness Is Most Important". I was back on track in my showbiz career. I also changed my attitude. No matter what my age or appearance is I have to be comfortable with it.

(At 30 he controls his life. He became a CEO. What are his plans?)
Jimmy: find a suitable wife. That's my dream

Host: You have 2 racing teams. You have your own business. You have an online shop, 6000c. I just said. You have many roles: singer, boss, actor, CEO, racer.
Jimmy: I opend a restaurant last yr.
(As a singer and racer he is still in the entertaining arena. Then he is actually a CEO with his online shop, restaurant. But we still can't imagine him negotiating business deals in business meetings.)
Host: Don't you think your babyface will affect your business dealings. Let's say i have a business meeting and the boss is Jimmy Lin.
Jimmy: I don't give it much thought. I just do it. Just like opening the restaurant. I didn't say anything when I was planning it. I only told ppl after it's open. I did it. I do it first then we sit down and talk.
Jimmy: In my businesses It's important to have a leader. I am that leader. I started it and my friends will run it. Like my online shop, my brother is running it for me, my own JR brand. Some of my best friends are running the restaurant. My racing friends are running the racing consulting company for me. It's not just mine. They belong to all my friends.

(As a singer, he was very successfully. As a racer, he won many winner's cups. As a CEO, he is doing just fine. So which one is in his future?)
Host: tell us about your dreams for the future.
Jimmy: in my career I want to make a movie about racing. Racing is my 2nd career and what I am good at. What not combine it with my 1st career. Make racing entertaining.
(A lot of his plans for the future came from his parents. He is the 2nd child in his family. He is a filial son. His parents' wish for him has become his goal. )
Jimmy: like what my father said at my birthday bash, he wants to have a grandkid. I want to find a suitable wife. That's my dream.
Host: It's up to fate. And also it takes time to date and fall in love. if you spend so much time on pursuing the goals of your career then you will miss out on your parents' dream. You look like a child but you are at the age for marriage and it's also the wish of your parents.
Jimmy: My older brother just had a baby this year. So it took a little pressure off my back. My father has a grandkid now.
Host: My first wish is for you to find a suitable wife. My 2nd wish is for you to fulfill all your dreams in your work.
