I'm sorry, I just don't get these designs at all. They are like a mild version of Gaultier's insane designs. I don't see anything wearable about these clothes.. But I guess he has a market for it over there in Europe

I have to disagree when you say "Fashion is not for the underprivileged" There are aspects of fashion that are more inaccessible, but everyone is free to be inspired by it.
That's why I love Marc Jacob's highbrow-lowbrow sensibility. You can buy a $50,000 dollar Vuitton bag he designed and pair it with a 10 dollar charm necklace from his Marc by Marc Jacobs label and it would still work together.
There's something for everyone there...
