  • Lovely performance, Boris!

  • Thank you!

  • Mr Feiner,

Thank you for posting this. My son has begun polishing this piece and your version is an excellent model for him of how to interpret it.

  • This sonata is difficult in that there are so many details in the score, yet so few are observed. For example, the phrase markings in the recapitulation, that differ to the corresponding part in the exposition are often ignored and the forte piano markings not properly observed. Much of the opening movement is in the piano dynamic, it should rarely stay long anywhere in forte. Not easy, and to still keep it alive!Thinking other instruments helps, when making choices for different touch.Well played

  • I love watching people enjoy their playing. This is very a very beautiful video. I love the playing and love watching you too.

    MARVELOUS!

  • Wow... this is incredible! I'm learning this piece right now but it would take me forever to be able to play it with this speed and precision...

My fingers always seem to tense during the trills and I can't seem to slur the octaves properly in the 2nd part. And I always speed up for some reason during the beginning of the 'development' when the left hand is playing the broken chords... in short, my playing just totally goes haywire at that point...

    Anyways, this is amazing!

  • This is amazing. I hope one day i can play like you Mr Feiner!

  • Me encanta esta interpretación.

  • looks to me as though he's in a church if you look at the window in the background? the black curtain would help to absorb some sound to create a nice balance of reverb. really nice recording considering I assume it was only using the built in mic on the camera?

  • Beautiful! I'm playing it too!

  • "i [also] love the echo"; I first noticed it in one of your performances of "Sheep may safely graze" What make of piano are you playing? What sort of room are you in?

  • Bravo! Sounds like a Hamburg Steinway. Very fine, indeed!
