Norbulingka: Making Metal Statues - part 1

Norbulingka is a special kind of school - near Dharamsala, India - where Tibetan students are selected to study 5 of the main traditional arts. I am especially fascinated with the metal statues. Here we see the stage after pouring the copper in molds. Here the individual sections are formed, and the cooper carefully flattened, and details added.

They sell the products directly, to pay for the school, and also offer some accomodation there for tourists.
