Why would you be flamed for being right, in my opinion their best work at the moment are the Evangelion movies, but TTGL was pretty damn cool, maybe pretty damn cool isn't enough more like epic to a whole other level, as to be expected from Gainax, they know their stuff that's for sure.

Alright, I know the song is Makka Na Chikai, but whats the slow instrumental version that starts at 10 seconds and ends at 50. I', fairly certain its still Makka na Chikai, but I would like to know what version that is and/or who its by.

honestly. I like alot of Gainax's stuff.. but they keep proving over and over and to how to end a series. .... And I hate to say it but eva both the pirme example of this. As if that wern't enough, Everone always seems to forget "End of Eva" Where when fans complained about Eva's ending Gainax came back with an " Oh, didn't like it? Okay, EVERYONE DIES AND GETS HORRIBLY FUCKED! YOU MAD BRO?!? TROLOLOLOLOLOL" ... in other words, they're kinda douchey sometimes.

GAINAX is probably the best animation studio in the world just together with ghibli and followed closely for MADHOUSE, Sunrise and a couple of other´s which I don´t remember now I prefer doubtlessly the anime made during the years Hideaki Anno was the main director of the studio, anyway it continues to be great, for me they best work is Evangelion, but there are a lot of masterpieces brought to us by their hands

@LoopyAngl0 Sorry to let you know this, but Code Geass was a collaboration between Sunrise and CLAMP, Gainax helped in Animation I think, but the history and all that came from those two.

This is quite possibly the best GAINAX collab I've ever seen, Makka na Chikai goes so well with the hot blooded and intense scenes used in this piece and the samples from each series really brings out GAINAX's progression as a studio over the years while showing off their unwillingness to compromise quality for quantity, The likes of Bones and KyoAni can't hold a candle to them.

@Illidreth haha yeah I meant "still." Code Geass was a collaboration between CLAMP and Gainax. Gainax did the actual animating but CLAMP helped with character designs and story stuff. There probably wasn't enough room in the video-lol. I love this video :D
