Parkway North High School and the Pepsi Refresh Project

Vote for Parkway North High School in the November 2010 Pepsi Refresh Project so we can receive a grant of $250,000 to put solar panels on our school. The idea does not, however, stop there. The money we save from installing these panels will be used to purchase more panels until our entire school is solar, and then the money will be spent on other schools in our district until all of Parkway is solar. Even after that, a portion of all of the saved money will be given to other schools so they also become solar powered. This isn't just a grant, it is a seed that has the potential to turn the entire education system to solar energy.
