2007 Annual Harvard Invitational Shoryuhai Intercollegiate Kendo Tournament, Kendo Kata Demonstration at beginning of second day.

Shimpancho Mr. Hironori Tahara, 8 dan, as Uchidachi (teacher), on the right, Shimpan Mr. Eisuke Tamai, 6 dan, as Shidachi (student), on the left.

Note: The camera had to be moved for as best an angle as possible then, but I decided to keep the unsteady shots for completeness.

Perhaps it is because of my own poor vantage point? Perhaps it is because they flew in to Boston all the way from from their busy work in Japan two days prior to the Individuals day just to help out at this tournament? But if you are actually trying to insult them, please do so to their face. I believe that to touch on comparing people is the beginning of a downhill slide.
