Not exactly faithful to the author's stage directions, and yet...a chilling interpretation...nearly bloodcurdling at times! I'm awed at how easily its pseudo-dystopian narrative transforms into the primal, morbidly tribal cruelties shown and sensed as we watch. The growth-strewn rocks of the set - outdoors ? -are a sort of eerie counterpoint to the decayed or bare abstractions so often associated with the author's work. Bravo!
