@yesthatskate no problem, and thanks for the tips. I ended up checking out Te Ana falls which were really pretty too, I also saw Waipunga falls nearer to Taupo. NZ is such a beautiful place

what are the Shine Falls like? Is this North of Napier? I am in town for 2 days and want to go check it out

@loopy1980 I am so sorry this did not get to you in time. It is near Tutira, which is about 45 minutes drive north of Napier. There are a number of very cool walks of varying length and required fitness - next time - there's a great information sign at the Tutira store on SH2 (Napier Wairoa road). And Shine Falls are beautiful!
