David Pechefsky for New York City Council

In 2009 David ran an excellent campaign to represent the 39th District, which includes parts of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Kensington, and Borough Park. The seat was ultimately won handily by Brad Lander in a very congenial, if unevenly covered race. The video was shot with a little Nikon Coolpix 7600 to avoid interference at City Hall. We recorded the voiceover, written by David, in his youngest's bedroom.
