This was a project for a college course (Hmong 1016 with Professor Bee Vang) for our final presentation before class ends. During the semester, we read a book in Hmong called Ua Lub Neej Raws Txoj Hmoo and our final project, we had to make an alternative ending. Tsim Nuj and Nkauj Feem met at a young age but because they were both poor, Nkauj Feem had to ignore Tsim Nuj because she was ashame of herself and her low status. Because Nkauj Feem ignored Tsim Nuj, Tsim Nuj was very heart broken and never dated anyone but to move on and make a better person out of himself in hopes of people lookin pass his life as a poor person. Sawm and Tsim Nuj are best friends/cousin brothers. They travel all over together and always does things together. They were invited over to another village to be Txiv Qeej and met Paj Dib and Mab. They all had the typical Hmong dating style in Thailand and Laos. They lived far from one another so they had to wait at least a month until getting to see one another. Love bloomed for all four of them. Sawm and Mab ended up getting married and as for Tsim Nuj and Paj Dib, the Vietnam War rolled around the corner and separated them both. Paj DIb was forced marriage to another man whom came to ask her parents three times and she couldn't do anything but to go and start her life with him. As for Tsim Nuj, he is very sad and heart broken. He decided to go to school and lived with his friend Muas. They both met many girls but Tsim Nuj wasn't interested in anyone. One day Muas and Tsim Nuj came back to visit Muas's parents (Tsim Nuj's parents died in the war) and Tsim Nuj reunited with Nkauj Feem. She then told him everything that happened when they were younger and why she ignored him, it was all because she was poor. SO they both agree to let the past go and get married. That was a quick recap of the story. Our alternative ending.... is... Paj Dib commits suicide because she is depressed that Tsim Nuj and Nkauj Feem came to USA. Paj Dib comes and haunt Tsim Nuj and Nkauj Feem but they end up Ua Neeb for Tsim Nuj and Nkauj Feem so Paj Dib cannot come near them.

But that was when they didn't give birth to the baby yet and now she's 10 and Paj Dib comes back to haunt the girl. Paj DIb sits by her bedside and tells the Tsim Nuj and Nkauj Feem's daughter their life story. Please watch til the end to understand.
