TU Delft Fire (brand) - see building frame clearly

You can see the burnt frame of the architecture building with the fire still raging inside. The university campus in currently undergoing renovation and a new park is planned. I suppose the budget needs to be increased now. This video was shot from the electrical engineering building (at an angle)across from the architecture building.

all that cheap acrylic coated Styrofoam burring like gasoline, fake stone exteriors do not do well in fires. a sprinkler system on the inside does nothing to keep the exterior from burring right off a building. it makes me wonder if one gallon of gasoline applied to the surface and set ablaze on any stucco building could destroy the entire structure. i scientific experiment could be done to examine this critical problem.

This is why "fire resistive" buildings require fire sprinklers. What started as a small fire destroyed the whole building. Sprinklers would have contained and controlled the fire until the arrival of the fire service.
