Went hunting today in up-state NY... Had probably 30 ticks on me by the time I got home. When I was a kid, we used to play in the woods ALL the time and NEVER found ONE tick... It was said, that ticks could not withstand our cold Winters... Well guess what, they've acclimated..... EVIL little parasites!

That 24 hour thing is absolute BULLSHIT. It's not your fault. It's the bullshit we have been told through the years. You can get infected immediately. Sure, get the damn thing off asap but it's no guarantee you don't have Lyme. Also, only 30% or so of people get the bullseye rash.
