Not when this aired, no. In the early 80's we we're living in a community that was 4 hours short of the tree line so we only got what our huge antennea pulled in off of the air waves. We had cable when we moved back to California in 1988, which would have been about when I saw this show in reruns.

Actually, I'm six years younger but I'm a Canadian and the show didn't air here until 5 years after it aired in the States.
Here in Canada....we tend to be a little slow, eh :).

@thegirl44 I'll bet anything you're 41 just like me and every other Square Pegs fan. And you're perfectly correct about the theme songs. Voice over and instrumental to open and the Waitresses at the end. It was for a brief moment the perfect show.
