showing off my home re-made power supply. the Hickok PS-505 bit the dirt when its transformers
insulative layers turned into a mystery goo over the years. and in turn shorted out one by one. leaveing me with a very shiney paper weaght. well. it wasn't that shiney untill i cleaned it up a bit. however i took on a project to revive this thing. the old inners was far to old to work with. paper caps was leaking oils.
i had no idea what the values was on the transformers. it was just better at this point to put in a new power supply entirely.

i built a power supply out of a computer power supply a wile ago. and figured i should take it a step further and put it in a proper houseing.

now for the glitch. for whatever reason when i change the range on the voltage via the rotory switch. it kicks off. and i have to reset it by turning it off and back on. i have no idea what could be causeing this. i would assume no load. ill have to toy with that and see
