  • Hello, Izzy. This is Mr. Rensing. If you would like me to be constructive, I will do so. Sorry for not getting back to you before this. To begin with, the videotaping of copyrighrted works is not permitted except by writing. Samuel French would not give permission for a high school production.

  • @MrRensing 1- It sounds kind of pointless to say 'to begin with' when you only have one point to state. Just for the record.

2- There are thousands of high school productions of Grease up on youtube. May not be legal, but they are still there, and they are not harming anyone.

3- If you have such a problem with it, then contact Samuel French Inc., inform them of this, and tell them to take my videos down.

Thank you for being constructive. :)

  • @MrRensing ...yes?

  • The tall boy in the back is SOOOOO cute, omg. Just sayin'.

  • @MrRensing Dude, the school that did this show puts on, if they are lucky, one show a year. We are (well, were. I'm no longer there. Graduated 4 years ago.) primarily an athletic-centered school. Cheerleaders and football players get the best, but there is virtually no budget for the theatre, and this was the first musical the school had done since 1983. All things considered, I think we did pretty damn good.

  • @MrRensing Swear words have no significance beyond the cultural views we have of them.

They are just words like any other words.

And you haven't really pointed out much which makes this production bad. What, that they took liberties with the costumes? Theatre is considered an ART for a reason.

  • @PKNproductions. No use for swear words. It only shows that you can't accept opinions that disagree with yours. Yes I agree it is educational. The production shows how not to do a musical.

  • @MrRensing

Mr Rensing, please return to law school, you fucking dumbass.

Go read up Section 107 of the Copyright law. FAIR USE.

You claim that "Samuel French would not give permission for a high school production." Thats because they don't need to give permission, as this constitutes fair use by several different arguments. Please consider the non-profit and educational nature of this school production.

Feel free to attempt to make a rebuttal. I would love to prove you wrong even further.

  • @Izzy41630 Okay, the reasion I said to begin with is because there is so much wrong. 1. The leather jackets are not worn in school except for Kenicke. Certainly not during the dance, Rumble yes, scene in the park yes, last scene in play yes, and of course this scene, To be continued.....................
