Improvised Pop started in July 1976 with the group Hal Greer. It continued its progression in 1988 at the Stony Brook radio station and became fully formed in 1993 with the group The Moodsetters. It continues to this day with the group The Center for Hearing and Dizziness. Part one of the history.

This is good Gary, exept a minor mistake.
We did the first deafcon performance in
1987, I remember because It was the year I returned from Florida after putting
closure to the big mistake.
(my first marriage)I just returned to
work for Grummen too, I left to the station to do the show after work. I worked the second shift.
