The next thing these people that Depend on the Police state will hear is "Papers Please." That is what they want and that is what the people of this country are sold. FEAR. Fear sells and the boys and girls at the top of the chain want you to stay simple minded and fearful of everything and everyone around you. I love that you guys are doing this. Keep up the good work. P.S. I like the bit about Jesus. I am not religious but i believe in the moral teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.

That is what I would call a hypocrite christian, assuming she calls herself a Christian. The world is full of the hypocrite Christians today. Calling the police on the homeless is heartless. Fascism is the mixing of government with private business. I don't agree with the hate crime law but I don't think it is fascist. Please correct me if I'm wrong. That is what I call becoming a police state and tyranny. A person should have the God Given common sense to know when to call on the police.

Here is another one someone stuck her tongue out at this woman.(LOL). Someone is checking their mail call the police. Someone is talking outside on her phone call the police. I just shake my head at our unenlightened citzens. I only call the police if I feel like I am in danger. That comment about people dropping teenagers off at the ER made me laugh. Why would any parent who do that?
You are right I appericate you speaking your mind.

@normalais no and no and no! A police state is an extremely controlling state with a very conformist outlook. For example the notion of reporting on each other as was attempted by DARPA and was encouraged by the Gestapo and later Stazi is the notion of a police state. Just having an oppressive dictatorship doesn't mean you have a police state. In fact police may even not exist in such a state.

Well done! :)
In sweden we have a law that is called "Allemansrätten" and it means anyone can walk on your property if they don't disturb you or use it in a way you don't use it (such as making food on a field that you dont want ruined). It works great, people respect each other and I havent found people on my yard yet, putting up tents and playing music all day long...

well I have been around longer and she is right!

LOl, she is right, I am a cop and I deal with these fools all the time. You would not believe some of the stupid calls we get. People call and complain about someone that them a name. They usually dont like my response. I had one call where a woman saw some sticks hodling up a bottle and came to the station all afraid, rambling about devil worshiping. And if we dont do something they complain and we get in trouble.

Legal liablity is what makes people touchy and call the police too fast. I once got into a fight that the other guy started but because he was first to report his injuries i got arrested and he did not.
I agree people are increasingly incapable of differentiating between serious and trivial, and also between "rights" and preferences (People say I have a right to do something, when it's really just a personal choice or preference). The problem is the authorities themselves aren't helping by creating more and more laws and bureaucracy. There was a woman fined recently for "endangering public health" for *accidentally* dropping a bit of hot dog in a park, which was immediately eaten by a pigeon!
