The same reason you don't fuck in front of children, you don't want to people learn and reuse it. And people who aren't African American don't want to be seen as racist when referring to that word and when you repeatedly use a word, it loses its meaning and connotation.

@Derneuerradikaler well if that's the case then prehaps we should allow this word to lose it's meaning and connotation. It's meaning and connotaion suck! It's meaning and connotation is of no good use. But saying "the N-Word" instead of the actualy word doesn't change the meaning and connotation of the actually word, it just protects those who want to use the word because they say I didn't say the word I only said the "N-Word" but the connotations still the same.

I try to answer in English, sorry for possible mistakes. I never thougt that way before, but it's all true. And you don't call a black person nigger because of the same reason you dont't call a overweight person fat, because it's insulting, and that isn't necessary.

Jemand hat mal gesagt "Philosemiten sind Antisemiten, die Juden mögen" und ich habe den Eindruck, das es in Bezug auf die Hautfarbe bei betont "politisch korrekten" Menschen nicht viel anders ist. Wenn es jemand bereits als anstößig empfindet, ein Wort zu benutzen, das einen Menschen von bestimmter Hautfarbe bezeichnet, dann scheint er doch gegenüber dieser Hautfarbe nicht ganz unbefangen zu sein. (Das richtige, eigentliche N-Wort würde ich persönlich aber trotzdem nicht benutzen.)

Es ist schwer für mich als Deutschen solch eine Bemerkung überhaupt zu machen. Aber warum sollte ich? N-Wort hin oder her, letzten Endes sollte man doch einen scheiß Charakter nicht auf die Hautfarbe zurückführen. Ich bin blond und will auch nicht Blondine oder Ähnliches genannt werden, genausowenig will ich, dass mir von Haus aus Dummheit unterstellt wird. Alles Rassismus und führt selbst bei nicht-verletzender Absicht doch nur zu Missverständnissen.
