  • awesome :)

  • Meh, why would someone do a French biography about one of the best runners in the world... There's obviously a lot of interest for information on him so why not be as broad as possible and do it in a real language...

  • without ethiopia there would only be kenya

  • Teff is the healthiest I repeat the healthiest grain in the world. Its full of Vitamins, nutrients, amino acids, fiber , more protein than wheat, more iron that any grain out there, more calcium than almost all grains, no gluten, and guess what folks the Arsi state in Ethiopia most Ethiopian athletes come from is the major region where teff is cultivated in Ethiopia.

  • Did you see those two running in the woods. Good God, if I run like that for 2 seconds I have to nap for 3 days.

  • @HugRunner Just because you don't understand it does't mean it's annoying, much less a real language. Sure, chinese might sound like just a bunch of sounds to many, but to foreigners, English sounds like a bunch of blabbery, too. Don't be jealous just because another country got the chance to do something many of us would have personally enjoyed doing. It's a great documentary. If you don't understand it, then sorry. There's lots of other places where you can find information like this about him

  • fuuuuck, why can't this be in english? i've gotta do an exercise science assignment on this guy. -.-

  • @HugRunner so why would a FRENCH broadcasting agency targeting FRENCH speakers do it in another language, do you think that ex. Dutch news is presented in english? of course not. And even if french is an annoying language, they would still be responding to a LOT of people, because the fact remains french is globally popular.

  • @HugRunner Just to get something out of the way, im not french, or of french descent, so all my views are my own and unbiased. First of all, i dont know why you find french annoying, its rules make way more sense than english grammar and it sounds a lots nicer than english (in my opinion). Also, your question has a pretty obvious answer. First up, Kenenisa doesnt speak french, so his dialogue is covered by a translator, so the original interview probs exists somewhere. Plus it was done for news,

  • @track2996 Well its #1 hated too. It's not influential at all, just annoying and unfortunately widespread. And the question still remains; you get like the biggest opportunity ever, you get to follow Kenenisa Bekele, why would you ruin it by cover it in French? It just confirms all possible kind of assumptions and prejudices about French I guess.

  • @HugRunner French is the second most influential and widespread language in the world, and this was probably made for tv... try being bilingual or a little more open minded...

  • The one time he says anything, its covered over in French haha
