she's a second degree black in american kenpo karate.. which is an extremely traditional art, i've been in it for 14 years. Yeah, the flashiness may be looked down on by traditionalists, but it's what wins and shy can't she have some fun with the bo staff along with traditional stuff? I think the form was sick, keep it up lauren!

yeah, anyone cheering this crap doesn't know martial arts. The hilarious SCREECHING/ not kiai's. All for show, no purpose dispite idiots thinking it's for focus. Please!

I agree with Scooby, this is not martial arts skill, the Bo is feather lite, real bo's are a little heavier for one. This is the type of crap found in the NASKA or open B.S. Tournaments where it is all about Showmanship not martial arts skill. What happened to real martial arts forms/weapons where the moves were for real, not flashy "gymnastic" type moves?

What do you expect her to wield, a metal stick? I can't see it getting much heavier than that seemed. And insulting her on her screaming? How the hell did you come up with that? If you've seen any other demonstration there'd be some sort of screaming, its to psyche you up and keep focused.
Please, prove me wrong and tell me what the hell is wrong with her form.
And please point me in the direction of a real competition with real competitors.

absolutely hilarious, 5 Screams? before twirling a toothpick pixy stick lite bo around like a baton twirler! It takes skill to move a real bo with speed and prescision unlike this feather lite version.
The screaming is pathetic, she would be laughed out of a Real competition with real competitors
This is a disgrace to serious martial artist.
