BTW, I have a degree in anthropology so no need to explain about evolution. You are reacting as though I'm defending the idea that humans were seeded here by aliens; NOT the case. I speculated about why the UFO phenomenon could well have a good reason as to why there is no evidence. IF (big if) someone or something is intentionally trying to hide something from you and you don't take that into consideration when you look for that thing, the you're (not you personally) an idiot.

Take the time to actually read what I wrote before responding. I'm talking about epistemology and methodology and you're still stuck on this ancient astronaut thing, thinking I'm defending it (when I'm not at all.) I explained quite succinctly that I was SPECULATING (do you know what that word is?) as to why the phenomenon could have perfectly good reasons why we don't have evidence. I did not state that I believe this stuff.

@dlandon2000 I made no statements re: alien intervention other than speculating about possible motivations and explanations for why the phenomenon is ephemeral. That was the point, not that I actually believe (without evidence? insane!) that any of this is correct. Do you actually know how to read? It doesn't seem like it since you haven't seemed to get a clue about what I was writing. You're arguing apples when I'm arguing oranges. Can you tell the difference between apples and oranges? NO

@dlandon2000 Apparently you haven't read a word I said. I specifically mentioned that I was not talkeing about the ancient astronaut hypothesis. I did speculate about some possible motivations of ET IF THEY EXIST but I stated that I was talking about the UFO phenomenon in general. I have a degree in Anthroplogy so I don't need someone to try to teach me about evolution. I would be willing to bet that I have been far more educated on this than most.

@synapse131 Well given the DNA evidence we know that humans evolved from other lifeforms on earth and are FAR older than 6000 years. So even if aliens did make us (no reason to think any did). They either start life here 3.5 billion years ago and let it go or they showed up 6 million years ago and guided our evolution.

The only other possibility is that the aliens created us 6000 years ago and created our DNA to appear that we evolved from other lifeforms and planted fossil evidence too!!
