Promethean Power, a 2007 MIT $100K runner-up, just installed a solar milk chiller in India, and received a $150,000 National Science Foundation grant for thermal storage battery research.
The company's co-founders, Sam White and MIT alumnus Sorin Grama, operate out of a unique incubator that combines offices, shop floor space, and shared resources and knowledge specifically geared at cleantech companies.
Greentown Labs, the incubator, is having a launch party starting at 5:30pm on Tuesday, June 21 at 337 Summer Street in South Boston.
