just interesting to compare his different view of himself as a musician in 76 compared to 66 (or maybe very late 65) when it was recorded in a baroque style like Pet Sounds and Today, here he reinvents it into a 'rock' song as brian actively tried to get a deeper voice, so it is slightly intended by him to be off-key and rought, he didnt give a darn!

I would assume it was Brian's choice what he played. It would be a daunting choice for sure, but he did quite well.

Sure his falsetto's great but i always liked Brians gruff voice. Its cool.
