I am extremely exhausted and it was difficult to do this because of exhaustion and stress fighting NYU and Cooper Union's community crushing development and city wide -- Mike Bloomberg betrayed my vote.

Just my time since I am not wealthy. Yet you dont know how much thats needed! Sorting food and clothes, taking coats and greeting guests and making them feel welcomed. Just chatting around the old tv we have in the lounge makes their day and my own. What is the situation in NYC? I know in Ottawa we hide our poor well. Myself I work nights making salads for a grocery chain. I am unionized but no extras thats for full time which they dont hire. Cute hun? Welcome to the new workforce.

Depending on the situation and if I dont feel threatened I say this to panhandlers. I am sorry but I cant. I look directly at them and use a gentle tone. They just say Godbless or have a Nice Day. My view is dont give if you dont want to but you dont have the right to make them feel worse than they already do. You dont know their story. From a safety issue you also dont know if they are on drugs, mentally ill or they want to mug you. And yes many are scammers. Thats why I donate to shelters.

Jane Scarfe. We have not been in touch for years but she knew me in my teens as my sisters friend. She may be a bit odd but I admire her. I want to say hi but the camera and media scare me off. I also saw she has a hater who posted videos of her. If you Tube Ottawa Homeless or her name you may find her. or her hater. The guy also hates the homeless shelter I often visit to help out. Films secretly and call them crackheads etc! We all have a past but to hurt people like that I dont understand.

You my dear are amazing and addictive to watch! Never have been out of Ottawa (well born in Kingston moved here at 2 and Detroit twice) but would love to visit NYC! One lady I know of gets permits to protest! She camped out for weeks at city hall and at the Rideau Center Mall!

Quinn hasnt even noticed that NYU is the second-coming of Robert Moses, because while NYU has been tearing down historical houses or evicting cultural landmarks, Mayor Bloomberg has been busy closing down firehouses and advocating for the construction of more football stadiums.
