yea..cuz chronologically , gotham Knight takes place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Ah, is it really such a bad idea? I mean, the writing is American, so it's really only the animation that's Japanese. I'm not sure why people think this is strictly a Japanese project.

Ah, but I like it though! Big O was actually more popular in America than in Japan, so that might have worked, but I think they wanted to go with more well-known directors.
